BARC Recruitment 2019 – The Results for the written test for the BARC were supposed to be released by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre ( BARC) on April 11 but the committee has been late and now the results will be released on 16th April 2019. The Results will be the selection process for the Interview round for the next stage of the selection process. Basically, the BARC will now release the names of the candidates who have to appear for the interview.

The examinations are conducted to select the aspirants for the Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Physics postgraduates. The interview sessions will run from May 20th to June 21st, 2019. You can fetch all the information regarding the recruitment process here.

BARC Recruitment

The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, India’s frontier nuclear research facility. The headquarters for the BARC are situated in Trombay, Mumbai Maharashtra. BARC is an advanced centre for excellence in interdisciplinary fields such as nuclear science, engineering and others. BARC offers various courses such as OCES, M.Tech, M.Chem, Engineering, DGFS etc.


The exams were successfully conducted and now everyone awaits the result for BARC 2019. The Results will be displayed on the official website. Separate results are expected for each stage of the selection process. The results will be sorted according to the name and roll numbers of the selected candidates.

Admit Card

Admit card is that treasure key which helps you sit for the exam in the first place. The admit card of each candidate consists of the candidate’s name, roll no., exam date, name, centre name along with other important information. Candidates are advised to carry a passport size photograph of theirs and a validation document along with their admit card to the examination hall. The candidates who do not carry a photo id proof on the day of the examination will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

Application Forms

The  application form was available online on the official website. As there was no means of offline application there was no availability of offline application forms. The candidates who cleared the eligibility criteria could fill-up the form and submit it with the concerned authorities.

Application Fee

  • An application fee of  ₹ 500 is charged from the General and OBC category students. The application fee is non-refundable.
  • Woman applicants, candidates belonging to SC/ST, Dependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA) and Physically Challenged candidates are not required to pay any  Application Fee.

The students who have sat for the GATE exam 2019 and have not received their results yet may also apply for the BARC. The retention of the students who commence their coursework is subjected to the mark-sheet of their final result, based on the eligibility requirements of the OCES/ DGFS-2019 program, submitted by November 30, 2019

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria are the first step in the ladder of getting selected. The eligibility criteria should be clear to every applicant. You can check the eligibility criteria on the official website as well as read it here:

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit (Age as on August 1, 2019) different for different categories:

  • General Category – 26 years,
  • OBC – 29 years,
  • SC/ST – 31 years,

Note: Physically Challenged persons of all categories have an age relaxation of 10 years

The training period, Bond details and Salary Details

Stipend and Allowances during Training period: the fellows under the OCES TSOs and DGFS scheme will be paid a stipend of Rs 35,000 per month during the period of their Training. a one-time book allowance of Rs 10,000 is also provided. DGFS Fellows are additionally paid a one-time Contingency Grant which is Rs 25,000 to meet project-related expenses.

Bond Details:  an agreement and a Personal Indemnity Bond is to be signed by the selected students to serve DAE for at least three years after their training period ends. Indemnity Bond -Rs 4,30,000 for OCES TSOs
